Studying Abroad
With the Erasmus + study program, you can spend a study period to carry out the activities included in your study plan (exams, pharmacy internship, research activities for the experimental thesis). How long?
One semester (first or second) or the entire academic year according to the Bilateral Agreements made with the host institution.
What can I do?
- Carry out the activities included in the study plan
- Attend courses, take exams, conduct research in preparation for the thesis
- Combine these activities with a curricular internship in a pharmacy
Upon your return, the activities performed abroad will be recognized by the University of Pavia.
What are the benefits?
- Receive an economic contribution to cover part of the study period expenses;
- Enjoy the “Erasmus student status,” which means:
- Exemption from paying tuition fees at the host University;
- The right to use the services (housing, language courses, etc.) offered by the host University;
- A bonus point on the graduation grade
Who is it for?
You can participate in the Erasmus Program if:
- You are regularly enrolled in an old system degree course, a three-year, specialist/master's degree, a single-cycle specialist/master's degree, a specialization school, a research doctorate, a university master’s program;
- You have a good knowledge of the language of the host country (or at least the language in which the courses are held) (language level verified by the University Language Center - CLA);
- You do not intend to benefit from a community grant provided by other programs or actions financed by the European Commission for the same study period.
Keep an eye on the call for applications! The call for applications is published every year around February on the University’s Internationalization website.
Students, PhD students, and Master's participants have the opportunity to undertake an internship abroad to conduct research activities, including in companies and hospital pharmacies. Students of all levels can apply. Mobility can be either before or after obtaining the degree, provided the selection was made while being a student. How?
Through the Erasmus Traineeship program.
With this program, grants are generally provided for a duration of 4 months, with the possibility of extending the period up to 12 months or reducing it to 2 months.
