Tutoring

Tutoring encompasses a diverse range of actions aimed at supporting students from their entry into the university until they are on the threshold of graduation, preparing them for employment by enhancing available resources to address possible difficulties at each stage of the educational process.

Tutoring is not a repetition of the lectures given by the Professors, but an integration of traditional methods that promote more personalized and participatory teaching or interaction moments.

There are several tutoring projects in place aimed at:

  • supporting freshmen and students who are encountering the university environment in Pavia for the first time (transfer students, Erasmus students, etc.);
  • integrating traditional teaching to address critical points (e.g., courses and exams that are particularly challenging or have a high failure rate for students) identified within the degree programs.

The Department of Drug Sciences announces various tutoring activities each year, funded by both the university and the MIUR.
