Admission test

What is the TOLC test?
It is a test that allows self-assessment of one's aptitude for pursuing a course of study in the scientific field and verifies the preparation of the prospective student.
The TOLC test is an individual test, managed nationally by CISIA (Consorzio Interuniversitario Sistemi Integrati per l’Accesso, www.cisiaonline.it), and is adopted by the University of Pavia and many other universities. It is administered online in computer rooms. In Pavia, a test schedule (found at the end of this document) is offered in the February, April, July, and September sessions. Due to the COVID-19 health emergency, the April session has been canceled and replaced by TOLC-CASA.
The TOLC test is not selective and failing it does not preclude enrollment in the desired course of study. However, passing it represents a preferential merit title. Therefore, students interested in the Pharmacy and Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology courses are recommended to take the TOLC before the "enrollment" windows open to earn the merit title for course enrollment.

How many times can the TOLC test be taken?
Candidates can take the TOLC test more than once. If the candidate has already submitted their enrollment application and wants to replace the previously uploaded certificate with one showing a higher score within the stipulated booking window, they can request it by emailing matricole.scienzedelfarmaco@unipv.it.
