Who Can Apply
Students who already have a previous university career (second degree, career closed due to forfeiture or withdrawal, transfer from another university, course change), interested in an evaluation for enrollment in a course at the University of Pavia.
For programs with limited enrollment, if in doubt about the possibility of admission to subsequent years, it is advisable to follow the procedures for occupying a place in the first year.
NOTE: If the student is not interested in enrolling in a year beyond the first, after enrollment they can apply for validation of the exams already taken. In this case, the student remains enrolled in the first year with the validation of exams deemed equivalent by the Educational Council.
How to Apply - Bachelor’s/Master’s Single-cycle Degree Programs
- Connect to the Reserved Area of the University of Pavia and register.
If the candidate already has a password to use online services, they do not need to register but should directly access the Reserved Area using the credentials they already have. In case of lost or malfunctioning password, it is possible to write, attaching an identity document, to password@universitadipavia.it - With the obtained Username and Password, access your Reserved Area and click on the menu item SECRETARIAT > ADMISSION TESTS
- Select the competition "EVALUATION OF PREVIOUS UNIVERSITY CAREER (PRE-EVALUATION) FOR THE DEGREE COURSE IN ..." and continue with the guided procedure attaching the required documents:
- copy of both sides of the identity card and the tax code;
- evaluation request form (available soon): complete with your personal data, select your previous position, and fill in the required information. For each exam, the university where it was passed, the number of credits, the related scientific-disciplinary sector, grade, and date of passing must be indicated. Only the exams reported in the self-certification, which must be signed to be considered valid, will be taken into account;
- syllabus of each exam included in the self-certification, if not taken at the University of Pavia;
- any other attachments useful for evaluating the previous career
- Proceed promptly with the payment of the invoice amounting to €35, as "Expense Reimbursement - Evaluation of Previous University Career (Pre-evaluation) for the degree course in ...", downloadable at the end of the procedure or in the PAYMENTS section of your Reserved Area. When to Apply
Courses with open access Bachelor’s programs: from June 1 to October 31, 2022
Courses with limited access: deadline indicated in the competition announcements and in relation to the number of available places and requests specified in the respective notices.
What Happens After Submitting the Application
The Evaluation Commission determines the exams that can be validated and the year of admission and communicates the outcome of the evaluation to the competent offices with a resolution. The offices send the resolution to the email address provided by the student during registration in the Reserved Area. The email also indicates the procedures and deadlines to finalize the enrollment.
Please carefully check the evaluation outcome before proceeding with enrollment; revision of the resolution, with possible rectification request, is only allowed in properly documented and justified cases.
