Information for admissions with previous university career evaluation
The enrollment process includes the following steps:
1. Application for the competition to secure a place by those interested in enrollment;
2. Obtaining the TOLC-F result, verification of the necessary requirements, and authorization for enrollment;
3. Checking your status in the Reserved Area;
4. Pre-enrollment and payment of the 1st installment by the deadlines visible within your Reserved Area.
APPLICATION FOR SECURING A PLACE
To apply for securing a place, interested parties must, within the timelines indicated in paragraph 4:
- REGISTER TO OBTAIN CREDENTIALS by visiting https://studentionline.unipv.it/esse3/Home.do, selecting the REGISTER option, and completing all proposed screens. This step is not necessary if you already have credentials to access the Reserved Area of the University of Pavia, or if registration has already been completed in the Dreamapply application because you hold a foreign admission title; if you lose your credentials, you must request a new password according to the instructions available on the following web page: https://studentionline.unipv.it/Anagrafica/PasswordDimenticata.do;
- REGISTER FOR THE COMPETITION with the obtained username and password. Access the Reserved Area, click on the menu option Secretary > Admission Tests, and choose the admission competition for the first year of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology as indicated in paragraph 4.
OBTAINING TOLC-F AND VERIFICATION OF REQUIREMENTS
After the application, the procedure will automatically acquire the TOLC result from CISIA based on the following timelines:
- The same day the test was taken (after 11:00 PM) in the case of an in-person TOLC;
- Two days after the test date (after 11:00 PM) in the case of TOLC@HOME. It is the candidate's responsibility to consider the TOLC result acquisition times indicated above when submitting their application.
CHECKING YOUR STATUS
Following the acquisition of the TOLC result, in the competition page [from the menu of your Reserved Area Secretary > Admission Tests > competition link], the candidate will see, under "REQUIREMENTS EVALUATION," one of the following statuses:
- ‹TEST TO BE TAKEN› ► The TOLC result has not been acquired because it is not yet available; the candidate must wait for the TOLC result to be acquired and for it to meet the required criteria;
- ‹REJECTED› ► The TOLC result has been acquired but does not meet the required criteria (defined in paragraph 4); the candidate cannot book a place. If the candidate, before the window closes, has taken a new TOLC and obtained a result that meets the required criteria, they can wait for the new result to be acquired to compete for a place without needing to submit a new application;
- ‹PASSED/ELIGIBLE› ► The TOLC result has been acquired and meets the required criteria to compete for a place (defined in paragraph 4). These candidates will see a second status [from the menu of their Reserved Area Secretary > Admission Tests], which can be one of the following, depending on the availability of places at that time:
- ‹ADMITTED› ► There are available places, and the candidate is authorized for enrollment. The candidate must proceed to pre-enroll by the deadline indicated next to the status [ADMISSION DEADLINE], then pay the 1st installment by the deadline indicated next to the status [PAYMENT DEADLINE];
- ‹CANCELED› ► The candidate, in 'admitted' status, who did not meet the pre-enrollment deadline and/or the 1st installment payment deadline will be placed in 'canceled' status. In this case, it will be possible to submit a new application, even within the same window, by repeating the steps from registering for the competition;
- ‹NOT ADMITTED› ► There are currently no available places. The application remains valid, and the candidate can compete for a place as soon as one becomes available. A new application is not required within the same window.
ATTENTION: Candidates in status who do not complete the enrollment procedures by the deadlines lose their right to enroll and free up places in the ranking. Therefore, the candidate in status must monitor daily for any status changes. It is the candidate's responsibility to monitor their Reserved Area daily to check for status changes and meet their deadlines.
